President, Brent A. Pinkerton
Brent A. Pinkerton is president of Purpose Insurance Group and is a lifelong resident of Venice, FL. Pinkerton began his career in the insurance industry more than 20 years ago and in 1992 became a captive agent with Nationwide Insurance, opening offices in Venice and Port Charlotte. Prior to the insurance business, Pinkerton worked for 10 years as an investment broker and financial advisor for some of the largest names in the industry, including A.G. Edwards and Shearson Lehman.
Pinkerton has been married for almost 25 years and has three teenage children. He is an active member of his community and is currently serving as board president of the Loveland Center, which serves adults with developmental disabilities. He has chaired the United Way of South Sarasota County golf tournament for the past 16 years and volunteered as a coach for Venice Little League and the South County Family YMCA for over 10 years. Pinkerton has also hosted a weekly teen boys Bible study in his home for the past 10 years. He is an avid golfer, a devoted fan to the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and BBQ grill master.
